An award-winning business in Co. Down has announced that it will donate £3,000 to a local mental health organisation as part of a 2025 charity programme.
Cove Collective, a strategic marketing agency based in Mourne, is making the donation to MyMy (Mind Your Mate and Yourself), a Newcastle-based mental health and wellbeing charity that supports people across South Down.
Throughout 2025, Cove Collective will donate more than £3,000 of expert business and marketing support to MyMy as part of the agency’s first ever charity of the year programme. The aim of Cove Collective’s partnership with MyMy is to raise their profile and enhance the charity’s activities through business consultancy, digital and social media.
Laura King, Managing Director of Cove Collective said: “We are thrilled to announce MyMy as our charity partner of the year. We admire the incredible work the charity is doing to support wellbeing in our community, which truly resonates with our team and values. Together, we look forward to raising awareness, funds, and making a meaningful impact for the Newry, Down and Mourne Area. We look forward to a year of collaboration and positive change.”
This partnership reflects Cove Collective’s commitment to creating a positive social and environmental impact, a cornerstone of the company’s ongoing journey to B Corp certification.
“As we advise others on making a lasting difference in their communities, we are dedicated to leading by example. Collaborating with MyMy allows us to support our local community while advancing our mission to align our business practices with meaningful social purpose,” added Jenna Stevenson of Cove Collective.
Having recently undergone a modern brand refresh with Cove Collective, MyMy moved to their new premises on Newcastle Main Street in December, offering multiple private meeting spaces and a new retail charity shop, marking a momentous stride forward in their growth plan, following significant investment. The charity was established 2018, and provides counselling services and well-being programmes to people in the Newry, Mourne and Down council area.
Deborah Boden, CEO of MyMy said:
“MYMY have enjoyed working with Cove Collective on our recent rebranding and were delighted to be chosen as their charity partner for the next year. With their expertise, we will gain a greater understanding around marketing and communications. This will help MYMY to continue to go from strength to strength in our new premises.”
